Bagwady Dayananda Shetty (B. Dayananda Shetty) – Finance Director
B. Dayananda Shetty is a Technocrat with a distinguished career in one of the largest Oil and Gas companies (Royal Dutch Shell) in the world. Through a variety of middle and senior management roles spanning more than 35 years, he was responsible for evaluating capital investment decisions of Shell across the globe. He personally evaluated many Capex investment decisions involving expenditure ranging from few million dollars to mega projects worth more than 50 billion dollars. During his tenure with Shell, he travelled major geographies in world including Middle East, Africa, Europe and Americas. His areas of experience includes Capital cost Estimation, Budgeting, cost control and reporting of capex projects in oil and Gas industries. He has provided project management support in executing various modernization, revamping and grass root projects in refineries and petrochemical complexes. He has hands on exposure in Refinery turnaround management, contract management, Corporate Performance Management and balanced score carding, Strategic Planning etc. Shetty holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering and Master’s Degree in Business Management from one of the premier institutes in India.
Shetty currently works for one of the Shell JVs in the Sultanate of Oman. He has experience of working in India and abroad equally in a career span of 35 years. He is one of the founder and director of Grandiana Universal Private limited. His role in Grandiana is in the area of Technology adoption, strategic planning, Performance monitoring and stakeholder management. Shetty is married to Indira (a house maker) and they have one daughter (Bhavya) who holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable energy Technology.
